Mychal Kendricks signs with Seahawks Authentic Corey Graham Jersey , report says UPDATE: Mychal Kendricks is signing with the Seattle Seahawks, according to NFL insider Adam Schefter.Original story below….Former Philadelphia Eagles and Cleveland Browns linebacker Mychal Kendricks pleaded guilty to insider trading last week and, as a result, faces up to 25 years in prison. But that hasn’t stopped at least one NFL team from considering signing him.NFL insider Field Yates reports the Seattle Seahawks hosted Kendricks on a free agent visit on Thursday. So … why are the Seahawks working out a dude who could be going to jail soon? Well, as Ian Rapoport notes, Kendricks’ sentencing isn’t scheduled until December. So they could sign him to have around in the short-term as starter K.J. Wright misses time. That seems pretty desperate, though. In addition to facing legal consequences, Kendricks is also subject to punishment from the NFL under the league’s personnel conduct policy. The 27-year-old could be facing some kind of suspension. Maybe the Seahawks were just kicking the tires on Kendricks because it doesn’t hurt to do their due diligence. But, uh, this seems pretty unexpected. Let’s get to the Philadelphia Eagles links …The Rams Are Facing a Four-Game Gauntlet. Can They Handle the Pressure? – The MMQBFrom J-Dogg (@jazz363611): Eagles making any moves for an RB or WR? — At running back, barring the price dropping on Shady McCoy, I doubt it. Receiver, maybe. Defensive back, more likely. The Eagles see their biggest problems right now as defensive back and offensive tackle. At the latter, they are what they are, with big money tied to Jason Peters and Lane Johnson, and a need for Peters to get well and Johnson to get going. As for the former spot, Rodney McLeod is hurt and Philly could stand another to have another body at corner. The Eagles have shown a willingness to be aggressive in the past, so nothing should really surprise anyone.Nelson Agholor’s breakthrough should come against depleted Jaguars – BGNIt’s been confirmed that Patmon will not dress in London and the Jaguars’ personnel responses to 12/13 personnel lean heavy towards big nickel looks. Each week Pro Football Focus projects WR/DB match-ups and have the rookie safety Harrison tabbed as the man most responsible for covering Agholor. In coverage, Harrison has notched 64 passing play snaps, with 9 targets Youth Corey Clement Jersey , 6 receptions allowed for 46 yards. He lodged 15 snaps covering slot receivers last week and allowed 2 catches for 18 yards. Not bad, but at his peak Agholor is one of the top slot receivers in the game. Is he still peaking or will this game only prove to raise more questions?Five over/unders for Eagles’ Week 8 matchup vs. Jaguars – PhillyVoiceBlake Bortles turnovers: 1.5 — Jacksonville’s QB Bortles has turned the ball over 13 times in seven games, with five fumbles and eight interceptions this year. Last week he fumbled twice, and two weeks before that he threw four picks. The Eagles defense hasn’t created turnovers at nearly as high a rate as they did during their Super Bowl run but impact players Jordan Hicks, Fletcher Cox and Malcolm Jenkins are healthy and overdue to make impact plays. Will they force Bortles to cough it up?Game Preview – PHI at JAX, UK Style – Iggles BlitzOne thing I didn’t cover in that piece is the Carlos Hyde angle. The Jags traded for him last week. Hyde sat out Sunday’s game, but will play this week. How much of the playbook does he know? Hyde is most effective as a workhorse runner. He’s not a playmaker. The Jags need something to get their offense going. Hyde isn’t going to come in an break off 80-yard runs, but his presence in the rotation can help the team get better production from their overall running game. Maybe. Philly is the #2 run defense. It feels like Haloti Ngata will be back this week. The Jags are missing their LT and multiple TEs. It is hard to run the ball when you don’t have your best runners or blockers. It is even tougher when you go up against a stout run D like the Eagles.Week 8 NFL score predictions: A guide to best games, fantasy help, more – ESPNFPI win projection: PHI, 62.6 percent. Blake Bortles will get another start, but he will have to improve on his 18.1 Total QBR over the past three weeks, second worst among 31 qualified quarterbacks in that span. But Bortles is 3-0 with a 8-1 TD-INT ratio and 68 Total QBR in London over the past three seasons, so maybe this will be a good opportunity for the struggling signal-caller.Eagles-Jaguars: numbers you need to know – Daily NewsThe Eagles are averaging just 3.22 yards per carry in the first quarter. That’s the third worst first-quarter rush average in the league, behind only Tennessee (3.00) and Buffalo (3.11).The five most intriguing games of NFL Week 8 – The AthleticThere’s plenty of blame to go around for the Eagles’ 3-4 start, but the simplest truth is that they need to score more points. The Eagles rank 22nd in the league with 22 points per game and managed just 17 points last week despite Carson Wentz completing 30 of 37 passes. To make matters worse, they’ve played a relatively easy schedule of opposing defenses. The Jaguars are the first top 10 DVOA defense the Eagles have played this season. So just as much as the defense should be expected to handle Blake Bortles, it’s time for what should be the team’s dominant unit to do something impressive.Philadelphia Eagles rookie Josh Sweat ready for potentially expanded role on defensive line – PennLive“I’m pretty confident,” Sweat said at his locker in the NovaCare Complex earlier this week. “I’m ready to go. I’ve been ready to go for the longest. I thought I would be playing a lot sooner, but it doesn’t work out like that. But I’ve always been ready.”An English Eagles Fan’s Mission: To See The Birds In Every NFL Stadium – PE.comIt’s a Monday after a big Eagles win. You wake up and go to work and want to talk about the game with your friends and co-workers. There’s just one problem. There are only two other football fans in the office. One is a Giants fan. The other is, you guessed it Womens Mike Wallace Jersey , a Cowboys fan. You might think this is hell. But this is life for James Boyce, a die-hard Eagles fan, from Benfleet, England. ”It’s massively hard work being an NFL fan over here,” said Boyce.Cheers, it’s Roob’s 10 Random Eagles Observations from London – NBCSPHis aggressive approach really makes Wentz’s career interception ratio even more ridiculous. He’s only thrown one INT this year, and that was in his first game. He goes into Sunday with 173 consecutive passes without an interception — 63 shy of Nick Foles’ team record set over 2012 and 2013. Wentz now has the third-lowest interception ratio in NFL history despite rarely taking the safe throw. The only QBs in the top 10 in NFL history in both highest TD percentage and lowest INT percentage are Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady, Russell Wilson and Wentz. Incredible company.Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Philadelphia Eagles primer: Key matchups, storylines, predictions, and more for Week 8 – Big Cat CountryJosh Walker vs. Brandon Graham. This is a terrifying mismatch in favor of the Eagles. A true nightmare. Walker has been doing his best in spot duty at a foreign position, and while he’s held his own all things considered, the speed to power rush style of Brandon Graham is an extremely poor match up for the former guard. Keep an eye on this and expect the Jaguars to use the running back to chip on more passing plays than usual.Jeremy Maclin will not play this year – PFTWhen last we heard from free agent wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, he was nursing a hamstring injury but still hoping to play this season. But the hamstring injury has proven to be more serious than he believed. Maclin needs surgery for the injury and will not play this season, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.NFL picks 2018, Week 8: Experts see easy wins for the Bears and Steelers – SB NationWe have a London game this week. Remember when the NFL was going to stop putting those turds on television at 9:30 in the morning? That didn’t last. The Jags, London’s home team, get an Eagles team that’s really hard to figure out right now. Precedent shows experience matters when it comes to playing overseas, but our panel is still split on who’s going to win this one….Social Media Information:BGN Facebook Page: Click here to like our pageBGN Twitter: Follow @BleedingGreenBGN Manager: Brandon Lee Gowton: Follow @BrandonGowtonBGN Radio Twitter: Follow @BGN_Radio
